August Rush is about two young musicians, Lyla (Keri Russell) and Louis (Jonathan Rhys Meyers)
spending one night together in New York City resulting in Evan.  Lyla thinks Evan (Freddie Highmore)
died at birth thanks to her father forging her name on the papers putting her newborn son up for
adoption.  Evan has been in the orphanage for eleven years but decides to run away and look for his
parents.  He follows the music to New York City, hoping it will lead him to the ones that gave him the gift
of music.  On the streets of New York City, he runs into the Wizard  (Robin Williams) who gives him a
guitar and the new name, August Rush.  In this fairy tale, you know there will be a predictable ending
bringing all three together at the same place at the same time.  Keri Russell is perfect as the fairy tale
mother and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the rock star father.  August Rush is the feel good movie for this
holiday season.
