BLADE: TRINITY
Right now it's difficult to tell which side is winning,
mankind or the vampires. This latest  chapter in
the ongoing battle for supremacy has a change of
director, David S. Goyer and that could make a big
difference in how things go down. Blade (Wesley
Snipes) and Abraham Whistler (Kris
Kristofferson) are still fighting the good fight, and
Whistler's daughter, Abigail, lends a hand. The
question is, will it be enough manpower to win a
victory over such pervasive enemies?

Hero, Blade, has a new set of ragtag, vampire
hunting allies, The Nightstalkers, in this latest
installment.  And, unfortunately for Blade and his
friends, the vampires have called in their top guy,
Dracula (Dominic Purcell), to deal a final blow to
the defenders of man. Some mighty battles are
waged throughout. But whether or not this is truly
the final hunt remains to be seen, and will
probably be determined by the box-office take
rather than the story line.
Brenda's comments
Action, fantasy, escapism. Isn't that what
you expect when you see “Blade” in the
title? And that's exactly what you will get in
this, the third entry. The new director does
seem to favor the battles and things get a
bit confusing here and there, but, so what.
It's all fantasy anyway. Liked the first two?
Then go and lose yourself battling vampires.
Mary's comments
Blade often takes a back seat to the
Nightstalkers in this third film in the series.
A good deal of the film is pure action, and
little dialogue. Perhaps this is a blessing
since the premise is somewhat lacking in
substance. Be prepared for some intense
fight sequences, shot with seemingly
unending camera angle change.
