HITCH
When a player becomes a dating instructor,
things get real funny real fast. All the smooth
moves and pick up lines are just so much
window dressing, simply the means to an end.
At least that's our first impression. But it seems
Alex ‘Hitch’ Hitchens (Will Smith) is more than
just a date doctor, he has a heart of gold.
Taking his pathetic clients under his wing, he
gently guides the unsmooth through the moves
necessary to win the hearts of their desired.
And he's a master, until his own love life comes
into play.

The beautiful Sara (Eva Mendes), newspaper
gossip columnist, is his Waterloo. Great
chemistry between the leads is a must and it
happens right before your eyes. Director Andy
Tennant got it right when he teamed up Smith
and Mendes. Kevin James, as Albert, is pure
gold for the role as Hitch’s most challenging
client.
Brenda's comments
A funny, funny look at the dating scene. Will
Smith manages to take a guy with a pretty
sleazy job look like a hero of the inept
daters everywhere. Kevin James is the
Everyman of romantic losers on the
complicated playing field of love. But even a
loser can be tutored to perfection, just ask
Hitch. Very entertaining
Mary's comments
If you're looking for pure fun in an evening's
entertainment, this is your hot ticket.
Laughter abounds as the audience is led
from sight gag to sight gag. A fat guy
dancing, a severe seafood reaction, an
accidental kick in the head may not sound
hilarious, but they are, in Hitch.
