Robert Downey Jr. stars as Tony Stark, the president of a tech-based arms manufacturer that sells
groundbreaking weapons to the U. S military.   While on a business trip to Afghanistan, Stark is
kidnapped and wounded by a terrorist group that wants him to build them a weapon.  Instead of building
the weapon, Stark designs an armored suit for his escape.  Upon his return home, he promises to
discontinue the manufacture of weapons by his company.  This doesn't set well with the second in
command Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges).  Stark discovers that the weapons are still be sold to the enemy
and jumps into his new armored suit to finish the job.  Robert Downey Jr. plays the lead as if it was
created for him. Gwyneth Paltrow is perfect as Pepper Potts and watching Jeff Bridges play the film's
villain is a lot of fun.  "Iron Man" directed by Jon Favreau is officially the first big "must see" blockbuster
of the summer season.
