Special Effects genius, Scott Stewart, debuts his directing ability with the new action/horror film, Legion.
The star studded cast includes Paul Bettany, Charles Dutton, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Lucas Black,
Kevin Turand, and primetime hotties: Adrianne Palicki, Kate Walsh and Willa Holland. With such talent
the movie is sure to be hot but, unfortunately it is only lukewarm. The apocalyptic story of God sending
Angels to destroy civilization is a great twist to the normal good versus bad action/thriller; however, the
story does not move fast enough and takes a little too long to introduce the characters. Surprisingly, the
special effects fall short compared to Stewarts past work (Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Live
Free or Die Hard, Iron Man). The acting is relatively good and the movie overall is entertaining but, it
doesn’t quite live up to its expectations.
