MADE OF HONOR (2008)
SYNOPSIS
For Tom (Patrick Dempsey), life is good: he’s sexy,
successful, has great luck with the ladies, and
knows he can always rely on Hannah (Michelle
Monaghan), his delightful best friend and the one
constant in his life. It’s the perfect setup until
Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week
business trip… and Tom is stunned to realize how
empty his life is without her. He resolves that
when she gets back, he’ll ask Hannah to marry
him – but is floored when he learns that she has
become engaged to a handsome and wealthy
Scotsman and plans to move overseas. When
Hannah asks Tom to be her “maid” of honor, he
reluctantly agrees to fill the role… but only so he
can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding
before it’s too late. --© Sony Pictures

"Made of Honor" starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan is the wannabe chick flick of the
month. The Grey's Anatomy (Dr. McDreamy) plays Tom, a player with that has the strict rule of never
sleeping with the same woman two nights in a row. He spends his days hanging out with his best friend
Hannah, an art curator he had met in college ten years prior. Tom realizes maybe he has stronger
feelings for this best friend when she is on a six week business trip in Scotland. Ready to commit to his
best friend, Hannah returns engaged to the perfect man. Tom has agreed to be Hannah's "maid" of honor
so he can do everything possible to stop this wedding. I enjoyed "Made of Honor" but was disappointed
when it failed to deliver the big moment that Hannah realizes she is marrying the wrong guy! Wait for
"Made of Honor" to come out on video and rent the old "Can't Buy Me Love" with Patrick Dempsey, if you
have never seen it!
