Mamma Mia is a faithful adaptation of the stage play of the same name. Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) has
figured out from her mother's (Meryl Streep) diary that one of three men could be her father so she
invites them to her wedding on a Greek island. Amanda is just adorable as Sophie. The music is fun
and the scenery is beautiful. There isn't much of a story line but the doesn't matter, you will just be
carried away singing and dancing in your seat as they sing nearly two dozen ABBA songs. Just seeing
Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard dressed in the costumes of the 70's and singing an
ABBA song is worth the price of admission! Mamma Mia directed by Phyllida Lloyd and starring Meryl
Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Amanda Seyfried is the feel good movie of the summer!
