MEET THE FOCKERS
What the Fockers lack in class they make up for in
enthusiasm. Parents Bernie (Dustin Hoffman) and
Roz (Barbra Streisand) Focker are the proud parents
of Greg and soon to be the in-laws of the Byrnes
family. And if the twains meet as expected, the
Byrnes-Focker wedding will go off without a hitch.
No, wait, that wouldn't be very funny at all. Of course
there must be a period of adjustment for the two
clans, with all the trimmings, or we couldn't call it a
comedy. And it's definitely a comedy.
Jack (Robert DeNiro) and Dina Byrnes (Blythe
Danner) are back, as is Mr. Jinx, who has a few
tricks up his furry sleeve, mostly aimed at the
Fockers' pooch. It's reunion, of sorts, for those of us
who enjoyed Meeting the Parents. It follows that we
would enjoy meeting the in-laws as well.
The all star cast carries any lapses in the plot and
moves it along with the echoing laughter from the
audience.

Ready for a good laugh? The Fockers fill the

the Byrnes-Focker wedding goes on, and I
