Disney’s all new action packed adventure, Prince of Persia:  The Sands of Time is full of swordplay, death
defying stunts, and interesting banter.  Jake Gyllenhaal plays Dastan, an orphan boy adopted by the King
of Persia.  After attacking a holy city, Dastan along with Princess Tamina (Gemma Alerton) must go on an
adventure to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that will destroy all life.  They must protect
the Dagger of Time, which allows them to manipulate the flow of time.  With the help of a local sheik
(Alfred Molina) and his tribe they return to the holy city to battle the angry ruler.  While the banter between
Dastan and Tamina may be slightly clichéd, their chemistry is astounding.  The action is very entertaining
and the movie is not at all predictable.  The lavish set designs are breathtaking and the beautiful cast is
enough to please audiences.
