SYNOPSIS
A former Christian missionary, who lost her faith
after her family was tragically killed, has since
become a world renowned expert in disproving
religious phenomena. But, when she investigates a
small Louisiana town that is suffering from what
appear to be the Biblical plagues, she realizes that
science cannot explain what is happening, and she
must regain her faith to combat the dark forces
threatening the community.--©Warner Bros

BRENDA AND DAVID
Katherine Winter (Hilary Swank), a former minister, loses her faith when her family was murdered during
missionary work in Sudan. Haven, a small Louisiana town, sends for Katherine to give them scientific
facts why the river has turned to blood, dead frogs falling from the trees, and the locust is swarming the
town. The town people are blaming a young girl for their problems. Katherine is comparing these events
to the plagues of biblical times that seem to be making a repeat performance as flies and maggots
materialize from nothing, livestock is falling like flies, and the lice infestation of the local school children.
We all know that something supernatural is going on but just how long is it going to take Katherine to
figure it out? All I can say for The Reaping is "Hilary what were you thinking when you signed on for this
one"! Wait for video.
