THE WICKER MAN
SYNOPSIS
Police officer Edward Malus (Nicolas
Cage) travels to the remote island of
Summersisle to help his former girlfriend,
Willow (Kate Beahan), find her missing
daughter. There, Edward is drawn into a
web of ancient traditions and murderous
deceit, and each step he takes closer to
the lost child brings him one step closer
to the unspeakable. And one step closer
to the Wicker Man.

The Wicker Man stars Nicolas Cage as Edward Malus, a California police officer who's haunted by an
automobile accident he witnessed that killed a mother and her young daughter. Edward receives a letter
from his ex-girlfriend, Willow (Kate Beahan), asking for help in finding her missing daughter, Rowan
(Erika-Shaye Gair), who just happens to resemble the young girl killed in the accident. Malus travels to
an isolated island off the coast of Washington called Summersisle to investigate the disappearance.
Once on the island, Malus discovers that the locals want no part of the investigation or will even
acknowledge that Rowan existance. What was Nicolas Cage thinking when he agreed to star in this
film? Maybe the Razzie Award! One more thing, I found myself thinking OF The Village by M. Night
Shyamalan as I exited the theater. Need I say more? This is a WAIT FOR VIDEO!
