The third installment of the Transformers movies, Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon hit theaters right
before Independence weekend and its special effects definitely had the punch of Fourth of July fireworks.
The story line was somewhat intriguing and definitely better than the storyline of the second movie,
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Sam Witwicky (Shia LeBeouf) is back and this time he is trying to
make it in New York living with his new girlfriend, the beautiful Rosie Huntington Whiteleyn (Victoria
Secret model). While Whiteley is stunning the chemistry between her and LeBeouf just is not the same
as with Megan Fox. The second movie was lacking in the special effects that made the first movie so
remarkable. Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon definitely made up for this and was filled with
multiple fight scenes between the Autobots and Decepticons morphing from cars to robots in seconds.
For those who love these alien robots there are a few scenes that might even spark a tear. While none of
the sequels live up to the first they still are entertaining and this latest one has amazing 3D effects and is
filled with the most astounding special effects to date.
